The 2nd day of the show, Tuesday, October 10,  was a night of entertainment panache, led by Femi Kuti who set the stage agog with his energetic performance. So also was  Aramide, Pasuma, Simi, Praiz, Black Magic, BBNaija winner, Efe, soul singer, Maka among other acts who gave good accounts of themselves on stage.

Though the event kicked off quite late, at about 9:30pm, when spectators were already tired and murmuring, but humor merchant, Omo Baba, cracked ribs momentarily before ushering in velvety voiced soul singer, Maka, who serenaded the audience with classic tunes from her musical repertoire.

The absurdity of the night was a performance by a female gospel artiste and saxophonist. There were murmurings of dissatisfaction as to why the organizers would accommodate a gospel performance at an event such as Felabration.

Most spectators payed attention to their phones, leaving her to the mercy of a few. Seeing how she was ignored, Femi Kuti was forced to jump out on stage to express solidarity with his Saxophone, and in what seemed like a battle of supremacy, they took turns to play a medley of Fela’s evergreen tunes. As expected, the Guinness book of world records holder won the musical bout.

With her acoustic guitar, Fun mi lowo crooner, Aramide, tuned the tempo of the night a notch higher as she thrilled the audience to her hit songs.

Omo Baba didn’t fail to continuously crack ribs whenever the need arose. He exchanged abuses with hoodlums in the crowd who took it up on themselves to mock him.

MTN project fame season one 1st runner up, Praise Adejoh, thrilled lovers of love songs to an evening of romantic tunes with a live band, which got the girls in the building screaming with lust. While performing, a fight began in the crowd which almost disrupted his stage craft, but he called on the warring parties to show some respect to the late Fela and quit fighting which they obliged to immediately.

Clad in a yellow high waist Kampala shorts and a red shirt to match, X3M ideas singer, Simi, dazzled when she displayed a side of her never seen on stage. She thrilled with alujo tunes, bringing a lot of sensuality on stage as she danced.

Bbnaija2017 winner, Efe, musically chronicled his success story on stage, he wowed the crowd ecstatically. He was forced to leave the stage after a series of warnings from the MC and DJ.

There was a prolonged frenzied excitement wen omo baba announced that the Oganla of Fuji, Pasuma wonder, was still back stage.

Black magic stylishly made a mockery of the DJ using fela’s Suegbe when the DJ interrupted him while performing. Paying obeisance to Fela, he concluded by serenading the audience with his hit song, Pass you by, featuring Oritsefemi.

Closing the show for the night was the Sheu of Fuji, Alhaji Pasuma. He took swipes at the government and law enforcement agencies, boasting that Afrika Shine is the only place himself and any other person can have fun infinitesimally without embarrassment or bully from any law enforcement agent. He praised Fela for fighting with his blood to give Nigerian socialites the freedom to express themselves socially.

Pasuma who has not performed at felabration since 2012, expressed profound gratitude to the organizers for having him as part of the artiste lineup for the 2017 edition. Fela’s erstwhile manager, couldn’t resist the elixir in Pasuma’s beats, in the company of a few big butted girls, he danced all through his performance.
