TELECOM operator,  Globacom, is giving away hundreds of millions of prizes in two new initiatives tagged Everyday Bonanza and Glo Jumbo Sim.

The first initiative, Everyday Bonanza, allows thousands of Glo subscribers to win different prizes ranging from Flat Screen LED TV sets, 4G-LTE phones, to generators, refrigerators, Microwave ovens and 4G-LTE MiFis every day for the duration of the offer.

Every Sunday while the offer lasts, a lucky Glo subscriber will win the grand prize of a brand new car. In the second offer, tagged Glo Jumbo SIM, Glo subscribers will get N200, 000  worth of  free  airtime once they purchase the special SIM.

Unveiling the two offers at the Globacom corporate head office in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Monday, Globacom’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni, said 50 lucky Glo subscribers will win Television sets every Monday, 150 subscribers will win 4G-LTE smartphones every Tuesday, 100 subscribers will win generating sets every Wednesday, 100 subscribers will take home refrigerators every Thursday, 200 winners of Microwave ovens every Friday, while 650 subscribers will walk home with 4G-LTE MiFis on Saturdays .

The grand prize every Sunday is a brand new Hyundai Accent car for a lucky subscriber. Fourteen of such are to be given out every Sunday while the offer lasts.

Israni said all a subscriber needs to do to qualify for the draws and stand a chance of winning any of the life-impacting prizes is to recharge his or her phone with at least N100 worth of credit.

Subscriber requirements

“Each N100 credit purchased entitles a subscriber to an entry. In essence, a subscriber who recharges his or her phone with N1000 credit automatically gets 10 entries. Post-paid customers are not left out. Every N100 usage on their line qualifies as an entry to the daily draw.

Furthermore, purchase of eTop-up, SIMs and data products from any Gloworld outlet will give the subscriber additional entries into the daily draws” said Israni.

The Special JUMBO SIM, according to Israni, gives Glo subscribers value that is not only unprecedented but also unimaginable in Nigeria’s telecoms industry.

Israni said anybody who buys the new JUMBO SIM for N100 will automatically have an airtime value of N200,000 preloaded on the SIM. This airtime will however be unlocked as the subscriber recharges his or her phone until it is fully depleted.
