THE Universal School of Aviation (USA), has been awarded the fastest growing aviation school in the continent at the just concluded African Quality Achievement Awards. The award, organized by the World Quality Alliance, held yesterday at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, had in attendance dignitaries from all over the continent and beyond who gathered to celebrate the outstanding organizations in the continent.
In his speech, the Director of Studies of USA, Ejigbo, Lagos, Mr. Onifade Adekunle Eedris, said the award was an encouragement to do more and an indication that all efforts to bring world class aviation training to the people through outstanding facilities and staff did not go unnoticed. He further stated that USA has the approval of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as an authorized training organization (ATO) to run courses that lead to the issuance of cabin crew/flight attendant license and flight dispatcher/ground pilot license among other certificate courses.
He said: “This is the third international award the institution will be bagging this year as it had early in the year won the West Africa’s Best Air transport school organized by the African Quality Institute and in August, 2017 won Africa’s Best Aviation School award during the Development in Africa Merit Awards (DAMA 2017). All of these achievements are not only for the management of USA, but also for past, present and prospective students of the institute.”
Various speakers at the event admonished the brands and organizations in the continent to step up their game in order to encourage people to stay back and get quality services and education in the continent instead of sourcing for such service outside.
