No crisis in Delta APC—Edojah

By Perez Brisibe

KOKORI—CONVENER, Delta All Progressives Congress, APC, Unity Group, Chief Solomon Edojah, yesterday, said contrary to reports that a fresh crisis was brewing in the party, the party remains united and has continued to receive members in droves in a bid to position the party ahead of the 2019 general election.

Edojah also hinted that though recent developments in the party had tended to undermine the peace agreement entered into by stakeholders during meetings convened by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, the party was waxing stronger with hundreds of persons defecting to it daily.

Edojah, who is a former member representing Ethiope constituency in the House of Representatives, explained that Delta APC Unity Group will continue to stand as a bridge builder with a view to building a strong and united APC.

He said: “The Unity Group does not subscribe to zoning of political offices, but shall work for the principle of fair play and open primaries for all contending aspirants at all levels of elections.”
