Former Kennis Music singer, Oluwajuwonlo James Iledara, better known as, Jaywon, has finally come out to clear the air that there is no bad blood between him and his former label boss, veteran broadcaster, Kenny Ogungbe.
In a recent chat with Showtime, the Odun Yi crooner who was rumoured to have acrimoniously parted ways with Kennis Music over allegations of financial misappropriation and bad management, dispelled rumored that there is still rancor between him and the management of his former label.
“Like the popular saying, old things are passed away; I still maintain a workable relationship with Kennis Music and every other artiste. I still had an interview recently on their radio, aside that Joe’l is my brother and I can’t say because I’m no longer signed to the label, I can’t have a workable relationship with him. A lot of people marvel when they see us together; for me we are still one big family and we are in the same industry. At the end of the day we are doing all these things to have a life, to take care of our future, it’s not a do or die affair, life continues”, he mused.
