Delta commissioner lauds stakeholders for supporting Okowa

AGBOR—Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, has applauded stakeholders and members of People Democratic Party, PDP, on the platform of The Bridge Builders, in Ika South Local Government Area of the state, for supporting and showcasing the achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Speaking in Agbor, during the maiden prayer session convened by Mr. Peter Idion on behalf of The Bridge Builders for Governor Okowa and members of his cabinet, Ukah, represented by his Special Assistant, Ogbueshi Christopher Nwaoboshi, expressed delight over the activities of The Bridge Builders, insisting that Deltans need to be adequately informed about the achievements of Okowa since he assumed duty as governor of the state.

According to him, the Ministry of Information will partner The Bridge Builders in disseminating information on government’s policies and programmes to the people at the grassroots.

He noted that despite the dwindling economic fortunes of states in the country, Okowa had managed the state’s lean resources to the admiration of most Deltans, pointing out that the “governor needs the overwhelming support of all Deltans to enable him consolidate on his achievements.”
