The Civil Liberties Organization, CLO, Southeast Zone, has raised 12 questions for the immediate and incumbent governors of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi and Chief Willie Obiano, on the management and application of funds, as well as execution of projects in their tenures.

According to CLO “it has become very imperative for former Governor Obi who is presenting his former Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Oseloka Obaze as candidate to vote for, for his new party the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Governor Obiano who is seeking re-election under his All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, party to answer the questions for the people of the state to have confidence in them and their candidate.

Rising from a quarterly meeting of its Zonal Management Committee, held in Awka, which was attended by the Chairmen and Secretaries of CLO Southeast states, with the Zonal Chairman, Comrade Aloysius Attah, the CLO said they were demanding urgent answers from the duo on twelve issues concerning their administrations.

CLO called on former Governor Peter Obi and his successor, Willie Obiano to provide answers to 12 questions bordering on their use of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Account; the Universal Basic Education (UBEC) Account; the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) Account; the 75 Billion Naira Handed Over by Obi to Obiano.
