WARRI—Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uvwie Local Government Chapter, Delta State, Mr. Kelly Otuedon, has eulogised the giant strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, describing him as a silent achiever.

According to him, the governor has been able to touch the lives of the people of the state in various ways, especially in road construction and rehabilitation, empowerment programmes and ensuring adequate security network across the 25 local government areas of the state.

Otuedon, who is the Senior Special Adviser on Security Matters to the Governor, spoke when he empowered scores of persons in Ugbolokposo community of Uvwie council.

On the programme, he said: “I decided to start this empowerment from Ugbolokposo, because charity, they say, begins at home. These people have contributed immensely to the success of PDP in this council.

“What we are giving out today did not come from any government axis; not even from political associates. This empowerment came from my pocket. I want you to be rest assured that PDP will continue to rule the state and even this all-important Uvwie council.”
