THE Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KFT Event Centre, Mr Ekomieyeta Uduboh, has identified unity among stakeholders as the yardstick to galvanise growth in the entertainment industry.
Uduboh made the observation during the official commissioning of the KFT ultra-modern event centre at Ugboroke, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta.
He said that the entertainment industry had a bright future in the country but only needed synergy to push for the enviable status.
“There is need for stakeholders in the entertainment industry to forge a common cause, pull ideas together to achieve the standard we are all yearning to attain.
” It is good for us to unite, work hard, change our ways of life and do the real things so that the industry can grow faster.
“No doubt the Nigeria entertainment industry has come of age but there is room for improvement,” he said.
The CEO said that the KFT event centre had targeted 100 persons for immediate employment to kick-start its operation.
He, however, said that the development would help reduce unempoyment in Warri and its environs.
Earlier, Mr Favour Izuokumo, State Commissioner for Delta Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), while commending Uduboh, said that Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa had resolved to create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.
