Delta APC vows to kick Okowa out in 2019

Delta State chapter of  the  All Progressives  Congress,  APC  has vowed to kick  Governor Ifeanyi Okowa out of the State Government House come 2019, urging her members to work hard towards entrenching the party in the heart of all Deltans.

Speaking during the inauguration of the party’s caucus and seven other committees, the state chairman of the APC, Prophet Jones Erue reiterated the determination of the party to bring to bear, an administration that has a human face.

Lamenting that the people of the state had suffered 18 years of deprivation, he said the APC had a master plan for rescue and economic recovery of the state. “We have a common goal to take over Dennis Osadebe House in 2019,” he said, assuring that the party would address the problem of perennial flooding in Asaba, the state capital and Ughelli.  Commending the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachukwu, Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor and other party leaders for their efforts in bringing unity and peace to the party, he said: “It is time to move the party forward in the state. It is time to move the party to the next level.

“Politics is local, so let us go to our units, wards and local government areas to work so that our collective efforts can yield results in 2019. We must go to our units to have a solid base.  Also speaking, Delta State 2015 gubernatorial candidate of the APC , Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor said there were no more factions in Delta APC.

Emerhor said they have all agreed to work together for the good and progress of the party, noting that; “we are now united and we have resolved to work; together we will win 2019 Governorship election in Delta.”  On his part, Dr Ibe Kachukwu said the reason for the inauguration of the caucus committee was to make sure that the party takes over the state in 2019.
