Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor have announced that they have signed Nigeria international William Troost-Ekong.
Troost-Ekong joins from KAA Gent until 2020.
The 23-year-old is now expected to officially sign a three-year deal on Saturday after a medical examination.
Bursaspor further confirmed that agreement has been reached in every aspect.
“The Nigerian defence player William Troost-Ekong and his club in Belgium KAA Gent have been agreed in principle and the player will sign a three-year contract after tomorrow’s health check,” Bursaspor stated on their website on Friday.
Troost-Ekong’s representative, Tony Harris, informed on Thursday that an agreement has been reached between the Belgian side and Bursaspor.
“Ekong will be leaving Gent. He will be going to Bursaspor in Turkey after a deal was agreed between the two clubs in the last few minutes,” Harris said.
