Bauchi—Bauchi State governor, Mohammed Abubakar, has approved the dissolution of the State Executive Council, comprising commissioners and special advisers, with effect from yesterday, July 20, 2017

According to a press statement by the Permanent Secretary on Special Services and Political Affairs, Sa’idu Abubakar Maikobi, the governor equally relieved the Secretary to the State Government, Bello Shehu Ilelah, of his appointment.

The statement said all the affected officers were required to handover the affairs of their ministries to their permanent secretaries latest  today, July 21, 2017.

Meanwhile, Governor Abubakar has approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammadu Nadada Umar as the new Secretary to the State Government.
