Ughelli—National Chairman of Urhobo Political Movement, UPM, and All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain in Delta State, Chief Christopher Obiuwevbi, has applauded the Senator representing Delta Central, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, for his ongoing empowerment programme in the senatorial district.

He described the exercise as “a clear testament of Senator Omo-Agege’s love for his constituents and grassroots approach to politics.”

In a statement in Ughelli, Obiuwevbi said: “From what transpired in Ughelli during the Senator’s empowerment programme, which targeted Okada riders and market women in the area, Senator Omo-Agege displayed his genuine commitment to the welfare of the people, especially the downtrodden masses, who continue to yearn for quality leadership as exemplified by the Senator.”

Calling on indigenes and residents of the senatorial district to rally round Omo-Agege, he said: “By the time Senator Omo-Agege is through with the current empowerment exercise across the length and breadth of Delta Central, our people will once again begin to feel the impact of quality representation at the highest level of governance in this country.”
