Court sacks Ogun monarch, reinstates other

An Ogun State High Court sitting in Ota,Ado-Odo local government area of the state has sacked the Olosun of Ososun in Ifo, Oba Alani Solanke, describing his installation as null and void .

The presiding judge , Justice Nosiru Agbelu in his judgement in a   suit filed by Chief Taofeek Fashion against the sacked Oba, restrained him from parading himself as the Oba of the town.

Justice Agbelu also declared that the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba ,Oba Dr. Adedapo Tejuoso remains the prescribed authority of Ososun and all the communities associated with the Oke-Ona section.

The complainant who   joined the state governor , senator Ibikunle Amosun ,commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Jide Ojuko and Attorney-General of the state and the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo had told the court that the process that produced the sacked Oba was lopsided and unlawful.
