Obaseki appoints seven Special Advisers

BENIN—GOVERNOR Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has approved the appointment of seven Special Advisers, with the former Secretary to the state Government, SSG, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, emerging Chairman, Strategic Planning Team, Governor’s Office.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, other appointees include Chief Osaro Idah, the state Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, emerging the Special Adviser on Political and Community Matters; Mr Crusoe Osagie, Special Adviser, Media and Communication Strategy.

Others are Prince Joe Okojie, Special Adviser, Agriculture and Food Security Programme, Mr Joseph Eboigbe, Special Adviser on Economic and Development Planning,  Gowon Yakubu, Special Adviser on Special Duties while United States-based educationist, Dr Joan Oviawe, is Special Adviser on Basic Education.

According to the statement, swearing-in of the appointees will take place on Friday at Government House.
