IN partnership with Scene One Productions, Rasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz and his wife, Funke Akindele-Bello, fondly called ‘Jenifa’, are set to screen a new drama series, Industreet, a music oriented television series packaged to capture the very essence of the Nigerian music scene.
The series is aimed at showcasing the peculiar intricacies, characteristic of the Nigerian music industry, with stellar performances from Tina Mba, Funke Akindele-Bello, OAP, Daddy Freeze, Linda Ejiofor, Dbanj’s brother, K-Switch, Lydia Forson, Charles Okocha, with some up and coming artistes signed to JJC Skillz’ record label.
With a fantastic script uniquely entangled in a series of interesting plots, Industreet creatively mirrors the survival story of greenhorns in the music industry and how they strive hard to measure up to the already successful artistes. It tells the story of the desperate measures taken by artistes, artiste managers and stakeholders in the music industry just to succeed. Industreet which was screened at the IMAX Cinemas, Lekki, with Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Ice Prince, Linda Ejiofor, Gbenro Ajibade, Lolo1 of Wazobia FM, VJ Adams of Sound City TV and others in attendance, was created and directed by JJC Skillz and produced by Funke Akindele.
