Ado-Ekiti—A political pressure group, Ekiti Unity Forum, EUF, has thrown its weight behind the aspiration of All Progressives Congress, APC, Deputy National Chairman (South), Chief Segun Oni, in the 2018 Ekiti State governorship election.

Oni, a former governor of the state, is expected to formally declare his intent to run for the 2018 governorship race on July 17 in Ado-Ekiti and will also open his campaign headquarters same day.

Speaking in Ado-Ekiti, Monday, EUF Chairman, Dr. Sunday Ilori, said the group arrived at the decision during its monthly meeting to back Oni’s candidature “having identified him as the most credible among the aspirants showing interest in the top job.”
