UMUAHIA—THE Chairman of Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Johnson Onuigbo has said that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has no intention of joining the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, adding that there is nothing in the party to attract the governor.

According to Onuigbo, though PDP lost power at the centre, it is still far better than the ruling APC, and “we are working hard to retake power at the centre and restore hope to Nigerians”.

Onuigbo who spoke to journalists in Umuahia on the Supreme Court victory of  the governor said he did not see anything attractive in APC to make the governor join the party.

Though he accepted that “politics is dynamic”, implying that politicians could switch camps, Onuigbo insisted that at present, the PDP is far better than the APC.

“There is no attraction in APC to motivate the governor to join the party. When we get to the bridge, we will cross it, but APC has no attraction  now,” the Abia PDP chairman said.
