TILES, no matter the quality you can afford to use in your home, are easy to maintain. In many homes, as a visitor, you are very careful of the way you walk or handle things because, right from the entrance, there is a standing rule to remove shoes and, if you fail to adhere, you will not like yourself because your hosts reaction will tell you what they don’t do in their house.

Cleaning the tiles in your home

Neat house is the key but, as homemakers, you cannot stop people from coming to your house especially children.  Instead of banning everyone but yourself from walking on your floor, clean up spills with love because there is assurance that the stain can’t be permanent.

One of the most important aspects of cleaning your tiled floor is making sure dirt and spills do not have a chance to get comfortable. This is easy enough to do with a mop or cloth, hot water, and a mild household detergent.

The easiest, quickest and most effective step you can take is to regularly sweep, vacuum, and damp mop your tiled floor.

A quick sweeping or vacuuming removes dirt and debris before it can become embedded in the tile or grout. Mopping with warm water and using a manufacturer-recommended cleaning product also enhances your tile’s gloss, shine, and color.

One of the best floor cleaning products that is affordable for everyone, whether rich or poor, is readily available in your home.  Water is effective in keeping your tiled floor looking great. If you want to add anything extra just mix a cup of white vinegar with a gallon of water for a wonderfully effective, odour-eliminating cleanser.

This is good because if you have children or pets, you may not want to use harsh chemicals, and this is a wonderful alternative.
