With some potential twists and turns remaining in the 2016/17 season, some fans will already be eyeing the coming campaign and it’s very much a case of diaries out now the date has been confirmed.
Vital Football reports that those clubs partaking in top flight football for the coming year (and those hoping to who secure promotion from the Championship this campaign) will find out their initial fixture lists on Wednesday June 14.
Other key dates so far are the opening weekend will begin on Saturday August 12, and the season will come to a close on Sunday May 13, 2018.
June 14 is the first major date though and all 380 fixtures – well let’s face it, they’ll be everywhere from 9am on the morning!
It’s also very likely the week preceding that date will see two or three claims of leaked fixture lists as well.
