Anambra State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Alexander Obiogbolu, has asked Governor Willie Obiano to  publish the state’s statement of account for 2015 ad 2016.

Dr Obiogbolu, who spoke with journalists in Nnewi, Anambra State, recalled that all former governors had published their annual statement of accounts and urged Chief Obiano to follow suit.

Obiogbolu, who is also the proponent of Oganiru Anambra, pointed out that Obiano will soon be three years in office but has nothing to show for the period and monies he has collected on behalf of the state.

The Oganiru Anambra boss said Chief Obiano was never prepared to govern Anambra State before the responsibility fell on him after his retirement from the banking sector.

The governorship aspirant said investment in human and capital infrastructure would enjoy priority attention if he makes the Awka seat of government while local government elections would never be compromised for any political expediency because of its strategic importance in building leadership capacity, and rural development.
