THE Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday, warned job seekers against falling prey to fraudulent text messages, social media adverts and forged letters for job placements in the company.

NNPC, in a statement through the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Ndu Ughamadu, said: “NNPC is not conducting any recruitment exercise. We will advertise vacant positions whenever we want to embark on recruitment.

“We wish to appeal to members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, to be wary of fraudulent invitations for job interviews at the NNPC Towers.”
