A 39-year-old man, Mr. Uchenna Onyenwe, is currently down with renal failure and needs the assistance of good-spirited individuals to carry out a kidney transplant. Onyenwe currently goes for dialysis twice a week to stay alive.

A father of four, Onyenwe travails started in November 2015, when he was diagnosed with kidney failure. The initial N2million he raised has been depleted over time because he spends N60,000 every week on dialysis. Before his travails, the Anambra State-born Onyenwe was a trader, but has been unable to ply his trade since the ailment manifested.

Onyenwe, through the Justice, Development and Peace Commission of the Catholic Arch diocese of Lagos, Aguda, Surulere Parish, is calling on Nigerians of goodwill to help him raise N10m needed for a kidney transplant operation.  He already has a donor, one of his sisters.
