ENUGU—Four amendment bills were yesterday presented before the Enugu State House of Assembly for future deliberation.
The executive bills which were read for the first time on the floor of the House by the House Leader, Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu are the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Amendment Bil, House Bill No. 3, 2017 and Enugu State Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-formal Education Amendment Bill ,House Bill No. 4.

Others are: Enugu State Gubernatorial Pensions Amendment Bill, House Bill No. 5, 2017 as well as Education Amendment Bill, House Bill No.6, 2017.
Speaker of the House, Hon. Edward Uchenna Ubosi, after the Clerk of the House Barr. Udeagha read the Bills, urged his colleagues to endeavour to do a research on the bills to enable them do justice to them during their debate.
The House adjourned plenary till Tuesday, April 4, 2017, to enable the lawmakers prepare for the onerous tasks ahead as well as to attend to their oversight functions.
