Swedish Allsvenskan side BK Hacken have announced the loan signing of Chisom Egbuchulam for the 2017 season. The club announced on their official website.
If the Enugu Rangers star impresses at the end of the loan agreement, BK Hacken will extend his contract for three years.
Hacken’s capture of Egbuchalam has put an end to speculation surrounding his future as he was courted by Tunisian clubs in the Nigerian off-season.
The 25-year-old winger claimed the Player of the Year at the annual Nigeria Sports Award after helping Rangers win the title with 16 goals to his name.
Nigeria forward Chisom Egbuchulam has joined Swedish club BK Hacken on a season-long loan from Enugu Rangers.
“Moving to Europe is a big dream come true for me,” Egbuchulam told BBC Sport. “I thank God for the opportunity and BK Hacken for the platform to play European football.”
Egbuchulam’s impressive form in the domestic league led to an international call-up from Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October.
Dominic Chatto, John Chibuike and John Owoeri previously represented BK Hacken.
