CAF U-20 AFCON: Zambian coach dies

Zambian coach  Gilbert Kamanga Jr. slum-ped and died while watching a match of the CAF  Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations holding in Zambia.

The 32-year old coach who is managing Zambian division-one side, Happy Hearts collapsed at the Heroes Stadium during the match between Egypt and Mali.

His father, Gilbert Kamanga confirmed the death of his son, popularly known as Coach Gilbert.

“My boy was just fine during the day and went to watch the games with his friends at Heroes Stadium. But while there, he lost consciousness and collapsed. An ambulance rushed him to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) where he died around 03:00 hours,” his father said.
