Spinner cord patient seeks Wike’s attention over alleged abandonment

spinner cord patient, Henry Ezekiel, at the Braithwaite Memorial Specialists Hospital, has cried out to the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, for intervention.

Ezekiel a native of Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state had got Wike’s attention 24 years after he had spinner cord injury having fallen from a palm tree in 1992.

Ezekiel, who was bedridden based on the health challenge was brought to BMSH for medical attention in October 2016 after the governor had approved his treatment, but was abandoned by the hospital a month after his admission.
