National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff is currently in a closed-door meeting with former Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman, ‎Chief Tony Anenih.
‎Sheriff, arrived at Anenih’s Abuja residence by 10:49 am in company of his deputy, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh and former political adviser to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan. He went into a closed-door meeting immediately with Chief Anenih.

Other members of his National Working Committee (NWC) also joined him.

The reason for the meeting is yet clear but indications suggest it would not be unconnected with the crisis rocking the party and searching for ways to bring peace among party members.
