The Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, has appealed for all possible support from the institution’s alumni, declaring that government alone cannot meet all its needs.
The VC said the institution would not only celebrate any alumnus who obliged the call, but would also be accountable on any such gesture received.
He said by giving back to the varsity, the alumni have the opportunity of earning themselves a space in the institution’s annual record of those who are contributing to its growth, adding that such a report would be circulated around the world.
Fagbohun, a professor of Commercial Law, said this at the institution’s Faculty of Law, when one of the visiting alumni, Mr. Abimbola Atilola, donated some books to the faculty’s library.
Atilola, a practising lawyer, and principal partner of Hybrid Consult, was received by Fagbohun alongside the Dean of the Faculty of Law, LASU, Prof. F.R.A. Adeleke.
