ONITSHA—The Director of Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari during his presidential electioneering campaign in 2003, Chief Uche Ezechukwu, at the weekend, joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra State amidst acknowledgement.

Ezechukwu, the Chairman of Editorial Board of Authority newspapers who also served Gen. Sani Abacha as a media adviser while he was the military Head of State, stormed the residence of an APGA chieftain, Mr Ikenna Ezeibenne Amesi at Ubaha village, Amesi in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state where all APGA factions were holding their ward/reconciliation meeting and declared his intention to register   as a party member.

Admitting Ezechukwu formerly as a bonafide member of APGA and issuing him with the party’s Identity Card and other materials, Vice chairman of APGA in Anambra South Senatorial Zone, Chief Titus Anigbogu noted that Nigeria stands on a tripod and each major tribe is represented and if one is removed, the situation becomes lopsided.
