Ex-President Jonathan condoles with Kure’s family

inna — Former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has described the death of former Governor of Niger State, Abdulkadir Kure, as too sudden, saying: “He left when the ovation is about to be loudest.”

According to, Jonathan, “he left us at a very young age. Within a short life span, he has impacted the society significantly.”

He described Kure as a patriotic member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, pointing out that the party will miss him greatly,

He said: “For us in PDP, he is one of the pillars of the party and also a member of our Board of Trustees, BoT, that is why almost all our members in the country were around during the burial.”

He prayed the Almighty God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

He was accompanied by former governor of Bauchi State and Minister of the FCT, Alhaji Bala Mohammed; former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki; former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode; former leader, House of Representatives, Mulikat Akande, and former FERMA boss,  Ezekiel Adeniji.
