ABAKALIKI—THE new Commissioner of Police for Ebonyi State Command, CP Titus Lamorde, yesterday, appealed for cooperation from relevant stakeholders and agencies in the state to enable him provide the needed security for all and sundry in the State.

Lamorde, who reported at the Ebonyi State Police Command, yesterday, said it was impossible for him alone to carry out the assignment of policing the state and that all hands must be on deck to enable him deliver on his new mandate.

He assured residents of adequate security of  lives and property throughout his tenure.

Lamorde, who hails from Mubi in Adamawa State, is the 18th Commissioner of Police since the creation of the state in October 1 1996.
