Bauchi—The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Umar Danbaba, has accused the member representing Lere/Bula in the state House of Assembly, Alhaji Aminu Tukur, of instigating the people of the area against the government of Governor Mohammed Abubakar and his party, All Progressives Congress, APC.

Danbaba, who made the accusation, weekend, alleged that the crisis rocking the party at the ward level in the local government was the handwork of the lawmaker.
However, in his swift response, Aminu Tukur said that Danbaba’s accusations was out of envy, stressing that he was a civil servant prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Caretaker Committee.
He said: “He is not a card-carrying member of APC and has no investment in the party, therefore, he has no right to accuse me because he was not there when we worked for the party’s victory.”
