As an entrepreneur, albeit profit was at the back of my mind, the joy that I could make a woman, regardless of her age, class and social status, to look beautiful and happy, took precedence. I am a woman and I am proud to be a woman. I am proud to promote womanhood. I like seeing women look good. So, my major aim was to make women of all ages appear fashionable. I am not saying it must be expensive in order to be trendy. No, that’s not the case here. Basically, you can work within your budget and look trendy. Believe this or not, our appearance speaks volumes about who we are.
Secondary Health Care…the magic wand!
In the simplest of terms Nigerian health services are organised along three tiers of Governments as follows: Primary healthcare – Health Centers at local government, ward and community level; Secondary healthcare – General and state hospitals; Tertiary care – Federal teaching and specialist hospitals. Primary health care is the first level of contact of individuals, the family and community with the national health system bringing health care as close as possible to where people live and work, and constitutes the first element of a continuing health care process.
Ultramodern diagnostic centre opens at OSUTH
As part of the activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Ogun State, an ultramodern fully-automated Diagnostic Centre was launched at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH), Sagamu. Ogun State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye said services at the Centre which is open to all Nigerians, are discounted to enable the less privileged in the society have access to the modern radiology diagnosis facilities.
