DELTA State Commissioner for Transport, Mr Vincent Uduaghan, yesterday described the member representing Warri South Constituency I in the State House of Assembly, Mrs Omawumi Udoh, who died Wednesday in a London hospital as an amazon who worked tirelessly for the development of her people.
Uduaghan who spoke to Sunday Vanguard, said the late Mrs Omawumi Udoh was a great asset to her constituents and the state.
Lamenting that her death was a big loss to the entire Warri South local government and the Itsekiri nation, Uduaghan said the contribution of the late lawmaker to the development of her people was enormous.
The Commissioner who was betrayed by emotion, described the late Mrs Udoh as a refined lawmaker with genuine desire to transform her constituency and constituents.
Uduaghan who spoke further, prayed God to grant the family, the people of the constituency and the Itsekiri nation the fortitude to bear the great loss.
