DUTSE—The North-West zonal office of All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna North as unconstitutional and an invitation to anarchy and disorder.

Speaking during the North-West zonal meeting last weekend in Dutse, Jigawa State, the National Vice Chairman of the party, Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir, said: “Every disciplinary measure should strictly follow due process and the constitution of the party.”

Abdulkadir explained that over time, intra-party wrangling within the party in states had threatened the foundation of the party, adding that matters of misunderstandings should, therefore, be allowed to be discussed openly with fair hearing to allow for harmony and growth in the party.

He warned that the winner-takes-all syndrome by leaders in the states would be tantamount to invitation to total anarchy and disharmony.
