Just when we thought she had slipped into oblivion, 2010 Project Fame winner, Chidinma Ekile, aka ‘Miss Kedike’, has explained why she has been absent from the Nigerian music scene.

In a recent interview, the delectable songstress who recently registered her return with the release of a new single, Fallen in love, said she has been deliberately absent from the music scene because she needed time to figure out the kind of music she really wants to do.

“Fortified is my own record label. I took time out to find myself, to be sure what kind of music I really want to do. Right now, I just want to enjoy myself basically and do music that I love. I want to express myself confidently and do music that I love. I took time out to be sure of the next step to take”, she said.
