ENUGU—Former Minister of Power, Professor Bath Nnaji, was among a 12-man committee inaugurated yesterday by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to handle the stalled execution of the New Haven-Nsukka NIPP transmission project in Enugu State.
Headed by a former Minister of Information, Chief Nnia Nwodo, the committee is made up of other professionals and high profile personalities that made Nwodo, describe their appointment as a call to duty, adding that they were determined to meet public expectations.
Governor Ugwuanyi, represented by his Deputy, Cecilia Ezeilo, while inaugurating the committee, said that the measure was in line with his administration’s electoral promises aimed at creating new urban centres for rapid development of rural areas in the state.
