In a bid to give hope to the less privileged students, a Non-Governmental Organization, Transform A Life, TAL, has given out educational materials ranging from books, pens, cleaners and sharpeners, to primary school indigent pupils in Araromi Community in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Speaking to Vanguard Learning, the Public Relations Officer of the initiative, Miss Fisayo Dayo-Samuel revealed that the writing materials would help and assist parents and children who were not financially stable to purchase necessary writing materials.

She said, “Since the initiative was established in 2014, TAL has impacted over 2, 000 lives by taking out of school children back to school and giving scholarships to students who who are indigent but exceptionally brilliant.”

Also, the founder of Dreams from Slum, who is partnership with TAL, Mr. Isaac Success, noted that Araromi community in Ajegunle is the poorest community in Ajegunle, adding that the initiative was established in order to provide education opportunities for the less privileged.

“We want to see how we can help children in this community to achieve their dreams so that those who want to become doctors will still become doctors and those who want to become engineers will still become engineers.
