ASABA—THE Patriotic Citizens for Okowa, a political pressure group in Delt State, has honoured Governor Ifeanyi Okowa with an award of Excellence for Good Governance, for his exemplary leadership style and developmental strides across the state within a short period in office.

The group also honoured the Accountant-General of Delta State, Mr. Cyril Agbele, with an award of Excellence for Professionalism and Commitment to duty.

National Coordinator, Patriotic Citizens for Okowa, Chief Lucky Asini, who presented the awards to the governor and Mr. Agbele at a ceremony in Asaba, said that despite the current economic recession, Okowa has brought his ingenuity and administrative acumen to bear as evident in his infrastructural developments across the state and prudent management of the state’s limited resources.
