UMUAHIA—GREGORY University, Uturu, Abia State, a private university, will tomorrow pass out its first set of 72 graduates with four making first class.
Also, at the ceremony, the Vice President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai, would be among those to be conferred with an honorary degree by the university, including Chief Jack Liu of Startimes and an Israeli, Mr. Moshe Moale.
The founder of the university, Dr. Greg Ibe, would also be installed as the Chancellor of the university.
The Liberian Vice President will also deliver the university’s pioneer convocation lecture.
Meanwhile, as a way of assisting parents and guardians to cushion the effect of the biting economic recession, the institution said it has reduced its fees by 30 per cent.
