The Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike has stated  that God  is  using Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike mightily  to recreate the  state for the benefit of the people .

Speaking  at the Government House , Port Harcourt  on Tuesday during a  courtesy visit  by Women of Niger Delta North Diocese of the Anglican Church , the Rivers Governor’s Wife noted that God has designed  Governor Wike for the present challenges  facing the nation and  he has been equipped  to lead the  state to greater heights .

She said: “God will continue  to  use Governor  Wike  mightily  for  Rivers State  Where there is a casting down for others, there  will be a lifting  up for Rivers State. While other  states have issues with  the economic  recession, the case of  Rivers State  will be different.

“Next year, Rivers State  will be 50 and 50 stands for jubilee.  A year of freedom.  God will do a new thing  for Rivers State next year”.

 Justice  Nyesom-Wike  noted that this is God’s appointed time for a person  with Governor Wike’s personality to lead Rivers State to the promised land.

While soliciting the support of  the  church for the Governor’s New Rivers Vision, she appealed to the church to always minister to prison inmates and the less privileged.

She stressed that: “The Church  can do a lot in alleviating  the suffering  of the less privileged “.

The  Wife of the Rivers State Governor assured the Women of the Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North  that she will participate  in their 2016 Women Guild Conference .

She said that Governor Wike will continue  to  support the Church and her development efforts.

Earlier , the Wife of the Archbishop/Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North , Mrs Beatrice Kattey praised  the  development  efforts of Governor Wike , saying  that Rivers State is gradually  wearing  a new look .

She assured the Wife of the Rivers State Governor that Anglican Women  will continue  to  pray for  her and the governor .

Mrs Kattey  invited Justice Nyesom-Wike to the Women Guild Conference of the Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North with the theme : “The Power of Patience “.
