I was unjustly sacked, former DELSU Registrar cries out

ASABA—FORMER Assistant Registrar of Delta State University, Awai campus, Mr. Michael Ovrawah, has described his sack over allegation of sexual harassment as unjust.

The institution, it will be recalled, relieved six of its lecturers of their duties over allegation of sexual harassment.

Reacting to a disclaimer published by the institution, Ovrawah alleged: “They are fighting me because of the fraud perpetrated against our salary arrears.

“The allegation of sexual harassment was aimed at tarnishing my name and integrity; besides, the impression that I am a lecturer is erroneous. I am not a lecturer as is being taunted by the university authorities, I am an administrative staff.

“Let any student who claims that I ever made sexual advances at her as a woman or any male as a gay come out and say so. There was no time I ever used the university’s identity card for anything fraudulent. As a matter of fact, I don’t have the current identity card.”
