Sept 10 is Edo Liberation Day—Omosede Igbinedion

By Gabriel Enogholase

THE member representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,  Rep. Omosede Igbinedion, has described September 10, 2016, as a day Edo people would be liberated from the “shackles of bad governance and underdevelopment,” as perpetrated by the outgoing government in the state.

Omosede, daughter of Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom stated this yesterday, at Odighi in Ovia Northeast during the campaign rally of the PDP governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

She said a PDP government with Pastor Ize-Iyamu as governor would bring countless blessings to the state and its people in terms of responsible and humane governance that is committed to the development of all parts of the state. She said; “The date is crucial to Edo’s future because voters across the state are now aware and confidently sensitive and so will turn out en masse to vote for a PDP government that will respect their rights, observe the rule of law and respect the Constitution of the country.
