Minna—The three principal characters in the recent clash between the military and civilians in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State, yesterday, shunned the Judicial Commission of Inquiry which started its sitting in Minna, the state capital.

No fewer than 24 persons, including 11 soldiers, were killed in the clash that involved the Army, Nigeria Air Force and Gwari communities.
Chairman of the commission, Justice Mohammed Mohammed, who made the observation at the sitting of the commission, said he was disturbed that only a scanty number of people showed up.
Justice Mohammed also warned that the commission would not tolerate unnecessary adjournments because of time factor.
He, however, assured all parties that the commission would be thorough throughout its investigation to forestall future occurrence.
Similarly, the second commission of inquiry into the crisis at Pandogari, Lambatta, and Barkuta in Rafi Bosso and Paikoro Local Government areas of the state also began its sitting in Minna yesterday.
Chairman of the commission, Justice Abdullahi Mikail, assured that the commission would be fair and make justice and equity their watchword throughout the sitting.
The commission adjourned sitting till September 5, just as the Chairman also warned against unnecessary delay by the counsels.
No fewer than nine persons died, while several houses,17 vehicles, motorcycles and other valuables were destroyed in the crisis about two months ago.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello inaugurated the two judicial commissions of inquiry a few days ago to unravel the causes of the crises.
The two commissions have one month to submit their reports.
