WARRI— TO bring about industrial
revolution and speedy development to the community, the management of Finest Investment Limited and Ukpokiti community, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, for the development of Perewinkle Industrial Island in the area.

Chairman, Finest Investment Limited, Chief Atuyota Ejughemre, said  the signing of the MoU was a way of wooing investors to a virgin island with about 3,106 hectares perimeter survey in Ukpokiti.

He said the community had  yearned for development over the years.

Ejughemre said the land had been left untouched due to its geographical terrain, adding: “The place is only accessible by water and the people have been yearning for the development of their community.  It’s a very peaceful area. They have not been known for any form of violent agitation.”
