Buhari presides over FEC meeting in State house
The federal government is set to release the sum of N350 billion next week for capital expenditure, in its efforts to tackle the economic recession currently facing the nation.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, who disclosed this at a press briefing, in Abuja, yesterday, also said that the administration was working hard to raise $1 billion Eurobond before the end of the year.
With the N350 billion to be released, next week, the federal government would have released the sum of N750 for capital projects this year, having released N400 billion, earlier.
Mrs. Adeosun said that the much-awaited social investment would commence this month and that N60 billion has been set aside for that purpose.
