Why FG can’t develop Nigeria alone, by ESDA chair

LAGOS—The chairman of Ebonyi State Development Association, ESDA,  Mr. Felix Amannachi, said the development of Nigeria cannot be carried out alone by the Federal Government, but rather, with support from state development associations.

Mr. Amannachi said this during the launching of  ESDA in Lagos, and appealed to  individuals to support federal or state government’s effort in various areas, which should also be a primary aim of  community associations.

“The Ebonyi State Association Development  have visionary leaders, who identify areas of lack, and then make proposals, consulting with other individuals who are of high financial capacity to support development in those areas. Government cannot be left to do everything alone.

Also speaking, the president of ESDA, Mr. Paul Ikele said that ESDA is an association binding all Ebonyi people in Nigeria for developmental purposes, to ensure that Ebonyi people come together to solve problems, and also find a way to resolve conflicts.
