Former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole

Executive Director, Media and Public Affairs, Governor’s Office, Mr. John Mayaki has enjoined voters in the state not to derail the state from the sound economic foothold framed by Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
Mayaki in a statement made available to Vanguard pleaded that whosoever that has the interest of the state at heart should ensure the consolidation of the gains of the Adams Oshiomhole led administration by voting massively for Mr. Godwin Obaseki, describing him as “the best bet and anything to the contrary will be risky for the future of the state.”
According to Mayaki: “Whatever achievements and gains recorded throughout the Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole’s administration could be worthless if we miss it on 28th.
“We must not gamble on Wednesday, September 28th. We stand the risk of losing all our achievements if Mr. Godwin Obaseki is not elected as a successor to Adams Oshiomhole. A mistake would be very expensive, especially at this critical time in our nation’s history. Only the voters would deliver us from this death-cage by voting somebody who believes in Edo State and can manage it.
“The people of the state – the workers; civil servants, the artisans, market women, religious leaders, traditional institutions, and the civil society – want a Governor, no doubts, with capacity to provide positive leadership, and this can only be done by taking on the fight that matters most on Wednesday 28th and that is by giving mandate to Mr. Godwin Obaseki.”
