Budget Padding: Reps in rowdy session, Jibrin to face Ethics, Privileges C’ttee

ABUJA – MEMBERs of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, despite the rowdy session, finally placed embattled ousted Chairman House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmunin Jibrin before House watchdog, the Ethics and Privileges committee.

Lawmakers loyal to Speaker Yakubu Dogara made good their threat as they made sure all attempts to save Jibrin from the jugular of the House rule was rubbished.

If found guilty after the one week investigation by the ethics and privileges committee, Jibrin may go on six months suspension….
